Anne joined Gilly on the Afternoon Show, sharing her love and knowledge of art materials and techniques at each visit; either in the studio or on outside broadcasts. Workshops for the public, some held live on air, held in the Exhibition Area included 'Animal Art' and ‘Faces of Gilly’ Portrait Art Workshops with Gilly as the model!  Anne also taught Gilly (and sometimes guests) how to paint, live on air.

“The World’s first museum and art gallery dedicated to fine, decorative and applied art inspired by nature.” Anne loves to visit Nature in Art with its inspirational artwork and an almost constant flow of visitors to the art studio, eager to talk about wildlife art and the natural world!

Anne returns as Resident Artist at BBC Radio Lancashire joining ‘Gilly’, BBC Presenter John Gillmore on the Afternoon Show, sharing her love and knowledge of art materials and techniques at each visit; either in the studio or on outside broadcasts.


Project Manager, Workshop Leader & Designer; BBC Radio Merseyside & ‘Up for Arts’.  2012/13.
Designed two large wall friezes using art from art workshops (supported by Voluntary Arts England) at BBC Radio Merseyside, for use in the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre’s Mobile Treatment Unit; the first in the UK.  Live on air interviews during the workshops by BBC Radio Presenters Billy Butler, Willie Miller and Helen Jones.  Live interviews with BBC Radio Presenter Helen Jones at event attended by workshop artists, patients and staff at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre’s Mobile Treatment Unit to view the two completed wall friezes.  Anne is honoured to be recognised for her work on this project; on a wall plaque in the unit.
